Now those who know me know I D.I.E for Chanel, but Karl Lagerfeld has blown me a-way with the Chanel Fall 2010 RTW Collection. I mean I'm dead. The Freaking Hotness
Sick. The only word I can think of to justly describe this work of art is "sick." These heels by Hernan Lander were recently worn by socialite Angela Simmons to the 2010 BET awards. These shoes are the most...thank God Angela decided to pair them with this simple yet chic olive dress. This whole ensemble works! She looks a-mazing. Don't know how much these heels retail for, but they are fresh off the runway in Hernan Lander's Spring 2010 collection so they should be in stores now!
Buh Bye Grease Ball Hello Me!
I've been in a constant battle with my oily skin since I was about 14. I've tried everything from foundation (which is definitely not my thing!) to carrying around those little Clearasil scrubbing pads just so that the alcohol could dry out my face from time to time. I would end up going through about 4 Clearasil pads a day...bad idea! The alcohol ended up over-drying my skin to the point where my skin was starting to peel. Gross I know. I was left with no options until I went to MAC to buy some mascara 1 day. After having a long discussion about skin with the cosultant, I told her about my extremely oily skin. She revealed to me that she had the same issue, but that there was a simple solution. Blot powder! Blot powder absorbs oils in the skin without adding any color or texture to the face. So basically, it gets rid of oily skin without the weight or cake-face that foundation can produce. The only problem was that it was $22. I decided to try it out either way and surprisingly it worked. Anywho recently I stumbled upon the same great blot powder by MARK for $10!!! It still does the same thing for my skin its just less than half the price! For all you guys/gals suffering from the woes of oily skin I would definitely recommed this product. It works! BET Awards 2010
The best dressed award goes to Lala Vazquez in this gorg black dress. Compared to the disasters I witnessed yesterday...Lala definitely deserves best dressed for this "less is more" ensemble. One can never go wrong with an LBD. I cannot for the life of me find out who makes this dress, but its definitely the hotness!
The worst dressed award goes to Nicki Minaj in a vintage Rocha dress. Eeek! This was definitely a mix between an evil bride and A Nightmare Before Christmas. And the hair...what???? #Fail!My Fashion Loves...
So at this point you guys are probably wondering what my fascination with twins is right? I love twins, but you could say that I'm obsessed when it comes to Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. This 24 year old duo has shyed away from the spotlight for so long that I think people forget how amazingly fashionable they truly are. I mean hello they did create the "hobo-chic" look that many celebs still emulate. Besides having a line in mega store Walmart, these mini moguls just debuted they're new clothing lines "The Row" and and "Olsenboye." The Row was designed for fashionistas with expensive taste while Olsenboye is for my more reasonable fashionistas with a budget. The Row essentially consists of expensive knit t-shirts and tailored blazers. The color palette is pretty minimal. Creme, white, black, and gray are pretty much the only colors they're giving us in this collection. Olsenboye is the polar opposite. Consisting of denim cutoffs, tube tops, and mini tank dresses this line definitely appeals to the more laid back fashionista. Either way, both "The Row" and "Olsenboye" are hot! Don't believe me? New Nails
Celebs have been going ape ish for the hottest nail trend to hit the scene since Lee Press Ons. Minx nails have been spotted on pretty much every female celeb from Christina Aguilera, Blake Lively, and Kim Kardashian to older celebs like Paula Abdul. Minx nails are a solid film with an adhesive back that, when heat activated, seal onto the nail bed. In other words, they're like a sticker that any fashionable fem can put on her nails to look hot! The best thing about them is they're eco-friendly!! So never fear my tree hugging counterparts, there's hotness out there for you too! The awesome thing about them is you can get the sticker to look like anything. Katy Perry recently celebrated her 25th birthday by having an Oompa-Loompa themed bash, so she got Oompa-Loompa themed Minx nails. A little much in my opinion, but hey her whole persona is a little much to me so watevs. Anyway depending on where you live, the average price to have Minx done is about $60. Seems a little steep, but I would recommend it if you take pride in your nails. Plus, they pretty much last until you have them removed. Clearly greatness comes younger and younger these days. 20 year old twins Corianna and Brianna Dotson b.k.a Coco and Breezy have taken the accessory world by storm. Their eye catching eyewear is certainly not for the shy gal/guy and it screams look at me! Coco and Breezy's unique use of hardware sets them worlds apart from all other accessory designers and sends them to what they like to call "Planet C&B." My sources say that Coco and Breezy's latest accomplishments include scoring a deal with an exclusive eyewear boutique in New York and partnering with G-Shock. Wowza talk about making a household name. My prediction is with their new 20/20 collection they'll conquer and destroy the accessory world as we know it and we'll all be transported to Planet C&B where we'll be forced to step out of the box and look like awesome aliens. Beyonce's little sis finally got it! Ever since she had her baby boy, Solange Knowles seems to have been on somewhat of a path of fashion discovery. It all started about a year ago when she cut her hair...big mistake! I know the Amber Rose thing is in, but from the looks of Solange it definitely doesn't work on everyone. She seemed to be in search of some type of indie/neo soul look, but the hair cut just wasn't helping her. This past spring Solange had been spotted sporting a new afro wig to compliment her new african print wardrobe. The verdict is: we likes! She finally found the natural look that works for her. The wig is awesome! It doesn't look fake and I say if you can't get your own hair to do what you want it to wig it up! I absolutely love the way she's been wearing all these african prints lately too. I'm thinking this is definitely the perfect look for Beyonce's baby sis! Maybe now she can step out as her own woman and stop throwing those silent daggers at her big sis and Kelly Rowland...#imjustsayin!

Well maybe not a billion, but at a starting price of about $6,000 it might as well be. The Hermes Birkin bag has been spotted on celebs all over the world. But not just any celeb; celebs with buying power. From my investigations I've learned that there are only a certain number of bags produced per year, and there may even be a waiting list. Wow. Creme of the crop celebs from Victoria Beckham to robo-wife Katie Holmes-Cruise have been seen toting this pricey puppy around. I spotted a beige crocodile version of the Birkin on Ebay for...$62,999.88. Hmmm feed and clothe a small country much? This bag is beyond a splurge its just absolutely insane. But the most important question is...does it come with insurance?

Omgeeeee! So I promised myself that I wouldn't buy anymore wedges for the rest of the summer...well I lied! These are a personal MUST-HAVE better yet a WILL-HAVE!!! These wedges by Irregular Choice are $248. Eeeek! I know pretty expensive, but they're soooo one-in-a-million its ridiculous. These would look a-mazing slouched with denim cutt offs and a crop top! I will definitely take donations towards my Floral Fantastic Wedge Fund.
Finally Free
This twist on the average maxi dress is a MUST-HAVE. It's relaxing t-shirt design makes it easy to deal with throughout the day, but still offers the chicness that a true fashionista desires. It originally came in both navy and black, but after selling out in both colors the black was the only color to be restocked. Free People tends to be pretty overpriced and at $78 this maxi is no exception.
Must-Have!!
After being sold out for months, the Dany platform by Jessica Simpson was finally restocked. Unfortunately they are selling out again and FAST! These heels are the epitome of 70s hotness and they are a must-have. $98 must be affordable these days cuz these puppies are selling like hot cakes! They're so prized that I looked 'em up on ebay out of desperation only to find them being sold for a "buy it now" price of $300! Hmmm worth it...I thinks not!
Shades for Days
Finally after spotting these all over the net on celebs from Lindsay Lohan to Adam Lambert, I have been able to put a name to these evasive sunglasses! They are the Gucci 3100S avaiators!!!! Ever since I spotted them about 2 months ago I fell in love, but the itty-bitty gucci label on them was virtually illegible. Nevertheless, I have accomplished 1 of my many summer fashion goals: find the perfect pair of shades. Done and Done! At $295 these will probably put me in the hole for a while, but beauty is broke...right? Next goal before summer's end: find a cute boy for social arm candy! Easy enough...COPY CAT
